Plastic Car Wheel Brow Mould For Refitted Vehicle

Car wheel brow, which is the eyebrow of the car wheel, refers to the strip above the car wheel tires, which is a semi-circular part in the ledge of the wheel fender. Some are steel which is chrome plated and bright, and some are only plastic. Adding this wheel brow, some are for beauty, some are for scratch-resistant. Here SWY MOULD would like to introduce you to a set of plastic auto mould for market sales refitted car wheel brown made for our customers.

Preparation before mould making

One customer from Puebla found our SWY Mould, after some talk, he sent us the wheel brow sample by DHL for quotation and told us his requirements on mould and product(such as size, shape and polish on mould, and assembly on the product, etc.) Once we got the samples, our manager, project engineer, design manager, and me had a meeting to discuss the structure of the sample, the design point of mould, the feasibility of ejection, etc. I wrote down all points which need to concern about and made a PPT file to mark all these points with advice on how to make a better mould. And later our manager gave a reasonable price. After finish all things, I sent our customer the file with the quotation. He was surprised about the concerning points and advises, and told us we were thoughtful. After several days he talked with his team about the mould project, he gave us a piece of delighted news, he would like to cooperate with our team.

Checking all details about the payment term, delivery time, and other requirements, we made a PI for him. After receiving the pre-payment from our customer, we begin to design the product and mould.

Process in mould making

One set of the car wheel brow of front and rear part in both side, totally there are ten moulds. 

(Notice: if you have one set of plastic pieces that need to open moulds, it's better to be made by one factory, not by different factories, because there are many parts need to match, if, in the same factory, it's convenient for adjusting the size, shape, etc.)
