Don't just look at the price, but consider the quality, cycle, and service in all aspects.

1. There are many types of molds, which can be roughly divided into ten categories. According to different requirements of parts data, physical and chemical properties, mechanical strength, dimensional accuracy, surface finish, service life, economy, and other requirements, different types of molds are selected for forming.

2. Molds with high precision requirements need to be processed by high-precision CNC machine tools, mold raw materials and forming processes have strict requirements, and CAD / CAE / CAM mold skills need to be used to plan and analyze.

3. Some parts have special requirements during molding, and the molds also need to use advanced processes such as warm runners, gas-assisted molding, and nitrogen cylinders.

4. Manufacturers should have CNC, EDM, wire cutting machine tools and CNC copy milling equipment, high-precision grinding machines, high-precision three-coordinate measuring instruments, computer planning, and related software.

5. Generally, large-scale stamping dies (such as automobile cover molds) should consider whether the machine tool has a blank holder structure, or even edge lubricant, multi-station progressive, etc. In addition to stamping tonnage, punching times, feeding equipment, machine tools, and mold protection equipment should also be considered.

6. The production methods and processes of the above-mentioned molds are not possessed and mastered by every enterprise. When choosing a cooperative manufacturer, you must understand its processing capabilities, not only by hardware equipment but also by management level, processing experience, and technical strength.

7. For the same set of molds, there is sometimes a big gap between the quotations of different manufacturers. You should not pay more than the value of the mold, nor less than the cost of the mold. Mold manufacturers, like you, must make reasonable profits in business. Ordering a set of molds at a much lower price can be a tedious start. Users must start from their own requirements and comprehensively measure.

 

To prevent multi-head cooperation, try to make plastic molds and product processing one-stop.

1. With qualified molds (qualified test pieces), batches of qualified products may not be produced. This is mainly related to the selection of the machine tool for the parts, the forming process (forming temperature, forming time, etc.), and the essence of the operator's skills.

2. If you have a good mold, you must also have a good forming process. It is best to cooperate one-stop and try to prevent multi-head cooperation. If the conditions are not met, one party must be selected to be fully responsible, and it must be written clearly when the contract is made.
